Feeling the Heat: HeatGenie Gets State Funding
Backed with an infusion of cash and local industry veterans, activity is warming up for Ironbridge Technologies Inc. — an Austin company developing a self-heating food package.
The nascent company just received its third round of funding from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund, increasing the total capital from that one source to $1 million. It also appointed two technology industry veterans to its management team as it tries to make headway in the food container industry.
